GARY L. HOOKER, SR. (Executive Producer)

Gary L. Hooker, Sr., a North Carolina native, is a highly successful business entrepreneur and Principal of SEE Entertainment.  Hooker established SEE Entertainment to apply his immense experience and expertise in television and radio broadcasting to film production and promotional event marketing.   An award-winning television talent and producer, Hooker is the former Host and Executive Producer for 2Nite at the Movies (WFMY-TV, CBS affiliate).  Mr. Hooker has also worked as a Producer and On-Air Personality for two Top 40 radio markets in various formats, including R&B, jazz, classic rock and adult contemporary.  A graduate of North Carolina A& T State University, he is the recipient of numerous National Association of Broadcasting affiliated awards. 

Gary has cultivated an impressive list of producing and assisting in promotional events & mixers involving the likes of Jennifer Holliday, Ruby Dee, The O'Jays, Chris Rock, Ally Sheehy, Chelsea Handler, Eric Roberts, Bill Bellamy, Kent Faulcon, Denise Boutte, Adele Givens, Tico Wells, Kid Capri, and the late Bernie Mac.  He has now transitioned his passion for all things entertaining into a formula for success spanning nearly 20 years.

Mr. Hooker is also an accomplished actor, making his feature film debut in the Award winning action-drama, SISTER’S KEEPER.  He is the recipient of the highly-revered Robie Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Rosamond Johnson in God’s Trombones.  He is also the recipient of several NC A&T, ACTF and NADSA theatrical awards.  Mr. Hooker’s stage credits include professional tours in national productions of Dreamgirls, Showboat, A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Cotton Patch Gospel, Fences and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone.
